How to Give a Friend a Heart Attack – A Paper One!

Heart Attack! It is getting to be that time of year where we want to express our love to those who are near and dear to our hearts.  There are so many ways that we can show that love.  We can tell them, send flowers or chocolates, stuffed animals and cards come to mind as well.  These are all great ideas and I am sure that you can think of many more, but I like this next one because it costs very little and truly comes from your heart.  Why not give your loved one a Heart Attack?  No, not the kind that sends them to the hospital, but the kind that expresses how you really feel.

Supplies needed:

Scissors Colored card stock or construction paper
Tape Marker

Directions:

Cut out a lot of different sized hearts from your card stock or construction paper.  I like to use reds, pinks, and purples.  Use any color that you feel the person would like, after all this is your heart attack.  Write affirmations, poems, quotes, or expressions of love on some of your hearts.  Next, tape all of your hearts on their door when they are not home.

This is something that you could do for anyone, anywhere they live at anytime of the year. Maybe someone you know is feeling a little blue, I bet you would bring a smile to their face if they came home to hearts all over their door.  Maybe you have a college student that is at school far away from home.  No problem, just put your hearts in a large envelope and then send it in the mail.  Who wouldn’t love to get a package full of love?  You could play ding dong ditch after you tape the hearts to the door and leave a treat.

I Love You!There are so many ways that you can tell someone that you love them or are thinking about them.  Just remember that they will never know unless you tell them.  So put a smile on someone’s face by giving them a Heart Attack.

Happy Valentines Day!
