Laundry is a huge chore when you have a large family. My sister bought a set of Whirlpool Cabrio’s with extra capacity. Unfortunately for her she had to move to a rental that already had a washer and dryer so I used hers for one year. The Whirlpool Cabrio Washer and Dryer were so great that when it came time to return hers I went straight to the store to buy me an exact set.
I found my Whirlpool Cabrio Washer and Dryer at a local store for only $1299 for the set. I was willing to spend up to $2200 and was thrilled that I could get them for such a great price. The washer has a stainless steel bin, it runs on high efficiency detergent, it is quiet, and the capacity is huge at 5.4 cubic feet. The controls are easy to understand and use, and I especially enjoy the way the washer deals with bulky items. I used to spend a lot of time listening for my washer banging around as I tried to keep the load balanced while I washed sheets or towels. The Whirlpool Cabrio Washer senses when a load is unbalanced and tries to fix the problem. If it can’t, it simply turns off.
My sister’s set has been moved around several times and has not needed any service and still sounds quiet. My new set of Whirlpool Cabrio Washer and Dryer has the lint screen within the dryer bin as opposed to on top of the dryer. I prefer the lint screen within the bin because it is easier to clean and less dust is spread throughout the laundry room. My new set also has glass doors, my sister’s did not. Personally I would prefer regular doors, but the glass hasn’t been too dirty.
I have been disappointed by every washer and dryer I have ever purchased until now. The large capacity, quiet sound, and excellent washing of clothes has me sold on the Whirlpool Cabrio.
