I used Home Health Almond Glow (R) Coconut Skin Lotion throughout my pregnancy, both on my belly and my breasts. It helped prevent stretch marks and cracked nipples. It was the only oil that I could find that was made of paraben-free, made of natural products, and did not irritate my sensitive skin. The ingredients are: peanut oil, olive oil, lanolin oil, coconut, sweet almond oil, and vitamin e. The label says it has not been tested on animals.
I used it two times a day and did not end up with stretch marks from my pregnancy.
After giving birth, I continued to use it while breastfeeding to prevent cracked nipples.
We also use a little in the bath to help keep skin hydrated Just watch while getting in and out because any kind of oil in the water makes the tub more slippery.
I would highly recommend this product. It has many uses. I will rub a little on the ends of my hair when it feels dry, use it as an all-over body oil, and it’s great when massaging your baby.
The best price has been on Amazon. It’s cheapest to buy a four-pack, and join their “Subscribe and Save” program wherein you get a discount and free shipping. You initially select the frequency that you wish to receive refill orders, but you can discontinue at no cost at any time; or, you can change the frequency (if, for example, you want more, but just not at the intervals that you’d originally selected).
This brand (Home Health) also has other varieties such as Rose or Lavender or Unscented, though I’ve stuck with what worked for me (Almond Glow Coconut Skin Lotion).
